Warren Tavern - The first in AmericaIf you want to have a pint at an authentic colonial tavern, the place to go is Charlestown, where the Warren Tavern has been serving up brews since 1780. It is considered the oldest continually operated tavern in the United States. The tavern was visited by George Washington and was considered a favorite watering hole by Paul Revere, according to history posted on the tavern's website. What can you eat and drink there? Sam Adams beer of course, as well as other common refreshments and pub foods.
