North Quabbin Garlic and Arts Festival
Enjoy and support the bounty of amazing, regional artists, farmers and organizations. Strengthen communities by purchasing locally crafted and grown. Gain vision and skills for local living. Learn to grow garlic, press cider, mill lumber, grind grain, go solar. Nourish yourself through chef demos, glorious garlic cuisine and the wondrous wood fired bread oven. Transform trash into compost (only three bags of garbage for 10,000 people). Orange IS the New Green! Celebrate with stellar music and entertainment on two solar powered stages and throughout the rolling fields. Over fifty free, inspiring presentations and activities, fabulous kids art and nature activities, and garlic games galore all weekend long.
Admission is $5 per day for adults, weekend pass $8, kids 12 and under free.
Take Route 2 to Exit 16, or Route 202 (intersection with 122 north) and follow the signs to the shuttle lot at Hunts Farm to catch a free shuttle ride to the festival entrance gate. Parking at the festival site is for carpools of 3 or more or handicap tags. Rideshare at www.ridebuzz.org/garlicandartsfestival. No pets.
