About This Site

Welcome to the Massachusetts Online Travel Journal. It all began in 1999 when I started up a site focusing on the Cambridge area through The Mining Company, which later became About.com. When my relationship with About ended in 2001, I decided to take my ideas and start an expanded site focusing on Massachusetts travel. This isn't a career for me, it's a hobby. So if I don't always respond immediately to inquiries, I apologize, but that's why. It's also not affiliated with any tourism department, so if you need brochures or other official information, I suggest that you contact the Massachusetts Office of Travel and Tourism directly.
